Project: Héroïne Canadienne- Roberta Bondar
My project is on Roberta Bondar, the first Canadian women in space. She is a very influential Canadian who made history. She is a positive female role model for girls in sciences.
What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?
The most interesting thing in my project to me was that she loves nature and photography and she is a author of 5 books. Cool! Plus she was the first neurologist in space!
What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?
It doesn't matter what race,color,
or gender you are you can do amazing things.Always keep your dream in sight. Follow your dream like Roberta Bondar did when she was young she wanted to go to space and she did. p.s work hard and stay in school.
How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?
My life is similar to Robert's in some ways. I love science and nature. I am a proud Canadian. I think all girls should shoot for the stars.
